Do you remember Sonic from Sega? There is also an Android version and it is pretty good. I felt a sense of nostalgia and memories about playing this game as a child on the 16-bit Sega Mega Drive II console just when I had start up this game. My feelings are boosted by the squared graphics that is the same as the original version for the Sega console, although the Android version has been developed all over again. Even game control is very similar to the original version of the game – there are just the virtual buttons on the touch screen instead of the original gamepad.

The big difference from the original game is that you can choose whether to play as Sonic or his friend Tails or Knuckles. If I remember it correctly, you could play only with Sonic in the original game. Tails has one great advantage over Sonic, and it’s capable of flying by rotating its tail.

The plot of the game is to prevent Dr. Ivo Robotnik in dominating the world with an army of robots powered by trapped animals. At the end of each episode, Sonic, or Tails, fights with Dr. Robotnik. It was easy defeat him in the first episode, but I stucked in the second episode and something tells me that the game will not be as easy as I originally thought. It is definitely more complicated than Red Ball 4 in which you have an unlimited number of lives/attempts. That does not apply to Sonic. You have only three lives, or more if you find bonus lives, and after exhaustion you have to repeat the second part of the episode from the beginning (each episode is divided into two parts).
